Eine Zusammenfassung zu der »Saint Seiya«-TV-Serie von 1989. Anzumerken ist, dass die Geschichte in vollkommen chronologischer Reihenfolge erzählt wird. Das heißt, alle Flashbacks, die erst im Laufe der Serie erzählt werden, werden am Anfang erzählt, bevor die Haupthandlung der Serie wiedererzählt wird. Dieses OVA wurde als Recap produziert, um die Erinnerungen der Zuschauer aufzufrischen, bevor Saint Seiya – The Hades – Chapter Sanctuary in zwei Monaten beginnt.
