Das Abenteuer von Ganba und Bobo beginnt, als die zwei Mäuse an den Strand gehen, um das Meer zu beobachten. Unterwegs treffen sie die Seefahrer-Maus Yoisho, die sich prompt ihrer Gruppe anschließt. Plötzlich erscheint eine verletzte Maus namens Chuta, die die Drei um Hilfe bittet. Sein Heimatland, die Insel Yumemigajima, wird vom bösen weißen Wiesel Noroi unterdrückt und nun sucht Chuta nach Kämpfern, die Yumemigajima befreien. Daraufhin schließen sich die vier Mäuse mit Gakusha, einer intelligenten Maus, Ikasama, einem Zyniker, und Shijin, einem Arzt und Trunkenbold, zusammen, um nach Yumemigajima zu segeln und einen Angriff vorzubereiten …

La aventura de Ganba y Bobo comienza cuando los dos ratones van a la playa a observar el mar. Por el camino, conocen a Yoisho, un ratón marinero, que se une rápidamente a su grupo. De repente aparece un ratón herido llamado Chuta y pide ayuda a los tres. Su tierra natal, la isla de Yumemigajima, está siendo oprimida por la malvada comadreja blanca Noroi, y ahora Chuta busca luchadores para liberar a Yumemigajima.
