Der Allianz-Marinesoldat James Vega wird in einer fernen Kolonie stationiert und muss als Anführer einer Elite-Spezialeinheit in einen Krieg gegen die mysteriöse Alien-Armee, die sogenannten »Kollektoren«, ziehen. Zusammen mit seinen Soldaten versucht er, die Kolonie mit allen Mitteln vor dem Angriff dieser Armee zu beschützen; ihr Ziel ist es dabei, die dort lebende Bevölkerung vor einer Invasion zu bewahren.

Anmerkung:
Dieser Titel feierte seine Premiere auf der New York Comic Con am 13. Oktober 2012. Entgegen der ursprünglichen Planung wurde der Film nur außerhalb Japans veröffentlicht.
