Traveling Daru (2012)

For the unnamed girl, her stuffed animal Daru is the dearest friend in the world, but when her family has to hurry to catch their flight, he slips out of her hand and remains lying on the ground while the girl and her parents fly away in the plane. But Daru doesn’t want to be separated from her either, and in turn, sets out to look for her – a search that seems to have no end …

Für das namenlose Mädchen ist ihr Stofftier Daru der liebste Freund auf der Welt, doch als ihre Familie sich beeilen muss, ihren Flug noch zu erwischen, gleitet er ihr aus der Hand und bleibt am Boden liegend zurück, während das Mädchen und ihre Eltern mit dem Flugzeug davon fliegen. Aber auch Daru möchte nicht von ihr getrennt sein und macht sich seinerseits auf den Weg, nach ihr zu suchen – eine Suche, die kein Ende zu nehmen scheint …

Das Besondere an dem Anime ist, dass bis auf das Ende kein einziges Wort gesprochen wird, sondern die Szenen nur mit Musik unterlegt sind.
