6 Angels (2001)

The Guard of Rose, an all-female mercenary force led by the still quite young Maki, is responsible for keeping peace and order around the Neo Purgatory prison. They are supported by the small robot and mascot Link, who serves not only as an alarm clock and communication device but also as a backpack carrier for the ultra-modern combat suits. However, when the female soldiers investigate a rumour about an angel at the former nuclear bunker that has been converted into a prison, their helicopter is suddenly taken out of the sky. They learn that the Canyon Family has seized control of the complex and wants to “cleanse” the world with radiation from the nuclear weapons stored there. Can the Guard of Rose maintain world peace?

Die Guard of Rose, eine ausschließlich aus Frauen bestehende Söldnertruppe, die von der noch recht jungen Maki angeführt wird, sind dafür zuständig, um das Gefängnis Neo Purgatory herum für Ruhe und Ordnung zu sorgen. Unterstützt werden sie von dem kleinen Roboter und Maskottchen Link, der nicht nur als Wecker und Kommunikationsapparat, sondern auch als Rucksackträger für die hochmodernen Kampfanzüge dient. Als die Soldatinnen bei dem ehemaligen Atombunker, der zum Gefängnis umfunktioniert wurde, einem Gerücht über einen Engel nachgehen, wird jedoch plötzlich ihr Hubschrauber vom Himmel geholt. Sie bringen in Erfahrung, dass die Canyon Familie die Kontrolle im Komplex an sich gerissen hat und die Welt mit der Strahlung der dort lagernden nuklearen Waffen »reinigen« will. Kann die Guard of Rose den Weltfrieden aufrechterhalten?
