Kimiko Dewa arbeitet in einer Apotheke in Kyoto. Der Verkaufsschlager bei ihnen ist momentan die Puppe HoiHoi-San, die neueste Waffe gegen plagende Insekten und Konsorten; speziell Aburatsubo scheint ihr bester Kunde zu sein, der mehrmals in der Woche bei ihnen vorbei schaut.

Auch sie selber würde gerne solch eine süße niedliche Puppe besitzen, allerdings kann sie keine toten Tiere sehen und ist ziemlich entsetzt, als sie sich doch einmal dazu hat hinreißen lassen.
