Der passende Name für das Duo aus Seira und Ichigo fällt Seira ein, nachdem sie sich lange darüber Gedanken gemacht haben, was ihre Ziele sind. Dabei kristallisierten sich die beiden Aspekte am stärksten heraus, dass sie ein Lächeln auf die Gesichter der Zuschauer zaubern möchten und Double M überflügeln wollen. Der Name 2wingS (gesprochen „Twings“, von Twin Wings, Zwillingsflügel) verkörpert dieses Streben nach Höherem, indem die glücklichen Gesichter ihrer Fans die Schwingen sind, auf denen sie nach oben getragen werden.
