A Holdings Corporation

A Holdings Corporation is a Japanese holding company that is a joint subsidiary of Naver and the SoftBank Group.

The company originated from Hangame Japan, a subsidiary founded by Naver in 2000 and renamed LINE Corporation in 2013.

On December 13, 2019, LINE Corporation founded the subsidiary LINE Split Preparation Corporation. On February 28, 2020, all business activities of LINE Corporation were transferred to the newly founded subsidiary. LINE Corporation was subsequently renamed A Holdings Corporation, and the subsidiary LINE Split Preparation Corporation was renamed LINE Corporation.

As a result of the reorganisation of the group, LY Corporation is now a subsidiary.

Februar des darauffolgenden Jahres wurden alle Geschäftstätigkeiten von LINE Corporation an das neu gegründete Tochterunternehmen übergeben. Anschließend wurde LINE Corporation in A Holdings Corporation umbenannt und das Tochterunternehmen LINE Split Prepration Corporation erhielt den Namen LINE Corporation.

Durch die Umstrukturierungen in der Unternehmensgruppe ist aktuell LY Corporation ein Tochterunternehmen.

Anmerkung:
Die im Jahr 2019 erfolgte Umstrukturierung mit Neugründungen etc. wurde der Einfachheit halber im Eintrag der LINE Corporation belassen, da auf den offiziellen Webseiten des Unternehmens nicht direkt ersichtlich ist, dass hier die Geschäftstätigkeit komplett verschoben wurde.
