The vast majority of this book is a delightful, sweet, and funny look into the lives of a group of disaster lesbians attending school together. All of them have crushes on everyone else — the book does not shy away from depicting how hormonal teenagers are — but each of them is in love with a specific other girl. Once Soma shows up a little more than halfway into the run, she drags down every storyline she's involved with by being the absolute worst, but aside from her everything else is still delightful.
EDIT: I have to amend my review. I was growing more and more concerned about the direction the book was going, so I did some checking ahead, and as it turns out,
there is no payoff in the main relationship, focus increasingly shifts to the Soma storylines, and it doesn't really have an ending.

As such I've revised my story score and overall rating.

"Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san" is a delightful yuri manga filled with humor and heartwarming moments. The dynamic between the titular characters, a dog-like girl and a cat-like girl, is both adorable and entertaining. Highly recommended for fans of cute and quirky romance.😘
