Das junge Mädchen Mila lebt in Fujimi, weil sie wegen einer schlimmen Lungenkrankheit aus der Großstadt Tokio wegziehen musste. Ihre größte Leidenschaft ist das Volleyball spielen, und sie hat sich vorgenommen, die beste Spielerin der Welt zu werden. Doch da hat sie noch einen langen und steinigen Weg vor sich.
