I found the movie. The one that feels like it was made specially for me. Guitars, punk, noise, Tadanobu Asano, over the top, unique cyberpunk imagery, and half the time I wasn't sure wtf was going on. I laughed out loud a lot. Just an assault on the senses.
I'm so ready to find out what else Ishii's works will bring as this was my first time with him.

Even better knowing that Tadanobu Asano and Gakuryū Ishii had a band together, called Mach 1.67, and made part of the soundtrack for this film. What a badass duo.
