TV Adaption for Futsuu no Joshikousei ga Locodol Yattemita Announced

posted on by Sephi-
Ichijinsha announced in their Manga 4-Koma Palette magazine that Kosugi Koutarou's comedy manga Futsuu no Joshikousei ga Locodol Yattemita will be adapted as a TV anime.

Futsuu no Joshikousei ga Locodol YattemitaBy request of her uncle the high schooler Nanako is made into their town's first local idol. To support her, the one year older Yuriko joins up with her. Yuriko, who seemed perfect for the job at first sight turned out to be a complete airhead, however. Together the two go through various interviews (in the local shopping maul), appear on TV (on private low-budget channels), and give concerts (on the roof of a store).
How they're paid? – By the tax money of the townspeople.

The anime is supposed to air on the TBS and BS-TBS channels. The manga was first serialized in 2011 in the 4-Koma Palette magazine and consists of two compiled volumes so far.
