Die Film Adaption des bekannten Knobel-NDS Spiels Professor Layton soll 2010 im Januar veröffentlicht werden.

Der Film wird unter dem Namen Professor Layton: The First Movie in die japanischen Kinos kommen. Die beiden Hauptcharaktere Layton und Luke werden von Yo Oizumi und Maki Horikita gesprochen.
